As I wade through my institutional education the trajectory of my learning, and my personal devotion to certain areas of study reveal themselves only after I have become bored with them. My study of art is a good example: I have always drawn, because I have always looked closely at things, I have always looked closely at things because I have always wanted to understand them, I have always wanted to understand them, because I have always wanted to change things, I have always wanted to change things because they don’t make sense. 
This process of opacity to transparency back to opacity is the product of a system, but as an output is the trajectory of human understanding, it is the way we learn. A process + structure = a system, and a system + time = a trajectory so as a system cannot exist without a structure, a trajectory cannot exist without a system. This trajectory works like an algorithm also: at first there is an event, object, process, or entity etc.- we observe this entity – we record our observations – me make judgements about what these mean.  Social media epitomizes the human trajectory of communication, where in we move from text only media like email, to text and image (facebook), to primarily image (instagram), to purely symbolic (emojis and emoticons)- the concrete to the abstract, the necessity to the desire. This pattern stems from the same formula where the constant is humans and the variable is the mechanisms of culture.
