Fashion architecture, Digital Fabrication, & Garment construction

Digital fabrication is a design and manufacturing workflow where digital data directly drives manufacturing equipment to form various part geometries.

The combination of Digital Fabrication and Fashion designing became a big thing in 2010 when Van Herpen created her first 3D-printed couture fashion show, constructing sculptural garments.

After creating this line more designers began to add this technique into their design process,

reading this article caused me to think of the dangers and benefits that 3D printing could have on designers and garment constructors, I worry that if 3D printing garments become too easy to access it will then take the job of those that actually put in had work to construct. their ideas but then I feel like it would also help bring more visions to life so it might not be that bad of an idea.
